Christmas In Detroit

Overview

Christmas In Detroit --- 1993-11-08

We would like to dedicate this album to our families. Peace and Merry Christmas Happy Holidays Everyone, Between September 28 and October 16, 1992, we got together at our studio with some of our friends and recorded this album. We hope you have as much fun listening to these songs as we had performing them. We feel very fortunate to be able to do what we do, and we hope the spirit in which this album was made will become part of your Christmas for years to come. This album was inspired by the desire to do something for the youth of our city, not only Christmas, but all year. Some old friends were brought together and some new friends were made. We wrote some new Christmas songs and recorded versions of some of our favorite classics. On behalf of everyone involved and all the great musicians past and present from this area, we're very proud to say, "We're from Detroit City" - the soul of great music heard 'round the world! Merry Christmas and God Bless, Brian Pastoria, Mark Pastoria, and Jimmy Romeo This album was made for the youth of Detroit, helping the Lakeshore Optimist Club provide assistance for the young people of our city. An Optimist Club are people, people who care enough to volunteer a portion of their time and effort simply to help others in their community. The Optimist Club motto is "Friend of Youth." This album was made for the people... by the people.
