Jazz Archives 2 (LP) incorretly credits [a2258359] with the vocal Blue Skies and the take is the second. # 5-8 to 5-11, 5-22: Tracks # 5-9, [a335601] is the one who makes the vocal interjections. # 5-12, 5-13, 5-23: Earl Hines plays a Storytone piano, an early electric piano. # 5-14 to 5-20, 5-24, 5-25: #5-Trackcs #5-19, 5-24 arranged by [a401548] or [a317503] (I have credited both). Tracks #5-20, 5-25 :Vocal interjections by [a335601]. # 6-1 to 6-5, 6-19, 6-20: The beginning of Stompy Jones is cut due to either a faulty trimming of the outer portion of the master disc or the delay in a mute button being disengaged by the engineer. All commercial releases have this very slight cut. # 7-11 to 7-14: Altough some discographies list [a231641] as arranger for The Earl has not been confirmed that is his chart which is different from the Powell arrangement for [a254768]. # 7-23 to 7-25: Some discographies list Rene Hall as doubling on trombone. The original RCA Victor file card list the personnel and instrumentation as shown in the booklet.
