Jimmy Dorsey tracks recorded on August 4, 1952; Woody Herman tracks on July 12, 1954. The date for the Herman performance is given on the CD as July 12, 1950, but the correct year is 1954. The CD insert shows an advertisement for Herman's appearances on "Monday and Tuesday, July 12 and 13", but July 12, 1950 was a Wednesday. Furthermore, Herman's studio version of "Mambo The Most", which is referred to as "brand new" by the announcer introducing track 14, was recorded and released in 1954: [r=12059954]
