Northern Stars --- 2018

A collection of songs from Rufus Wainwright's special Northern Lights concerts celebrating Canada's 150th birthday in 2017. Recorded August 16 & 17th at Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours in Canada and August 20th at the Ford Theatre in Los Angeles. Artwork attributes songs to their original or most famous performers, often matching the songwriters. Track 10 credits [a=Céline Dion], but the song was written by Luc Plamondon and Michel Berger for their 1976 rock opera Starmania, and recorded by Dion in 1991. Likewise, track 6 is attributed to [a=Man Without Hats] and track 14 to [a262943]. Actual songwriting credits are listed in the booklet.
