We’re Going To Be Friends is children’s book based on the song by [a=The White Stripes]. The book is illustrated by [a=Elinor Blake] (a.ka. [a=April March]) The original [a=The White Stripes] song along with new versions by [a=April March] and also The [a=Woodstation Elementary School Singers] are included with the book via download card. The special edition of We're Going to Be Friends comes with a limited edition 7" featuring two versions of the book's title song. This limited edition 'back to school' of We're Going to Be Friends includes a signed Jack White bookplate (unlike the regular special edition which is unsigned). Sold on Third Man Records for $99. The normal version also has the record sealed inside a custom printed sleeve, whereas the signed version just has a plain black open sleeve.
