these are four pieces based on scandinavian folks songs with some improvisational sections (basically i stole the melodies and interwove some soloing in them) plus some prepared and extended technique stuff, recorded over the space of a few days. a few passes are made and then the results complied in a rough assemblage. recorded into abelton live with with no eq and some reverb. two basses were used, one fretted and one fretless, both with round wound strings recorded may 2015
