Let's Talk It Over

Overview

Let's Talk It Over --- 1979

There are at least three reissues of the original album. There are several ways to tell the difference between the two. An original first press: - Has an almost 1" run-out groove on both sides before the label. - The "STEREO" at the top right of the front cover is aligned just to the right of the "D" of "FIELDS". - The original copy contains a label with a large circle that passes through / next to the "U" of both "Music" and "Production" on both sides. It is similar to Monarch pressing labels. - The original pressing's matrix etching contains the 4-20-79 date on both sides. The reissues: - Have a 1/8th inch run-out groove on both sides. - The "STEREO" is aligned to the "D" in Fields. It is further left than the original and the font is smaller. - The 4-20-79 date is not present in the matrix. - The sleeve is made of a thicker than usual cardboard. - The labels feature a smaller circle. The 1997 reissue has a similar label but the circle does not pass through the two "U"s in "Music" and "Production".
