The Complete Mr. Beat Volume 3 --- 2002
To promote the Mr. Beat comic book series, Mr. Beat creator Chris Yambar embarked on a series of promotional tours. In various cities, poets and musicians would stage updated "beatnik enactments" and play characters in the comic series. In this one-time event, Johnny J Blair played Mr. Beat. It was recorded in 1997 at the Bullfrog Brewery in Williamsport PA, but not released on CD until 2002--and only as a bonus recording to go with a deluxe Mr. Beat comic anthology.
