This CD presents a live performance at the Stockholm Concert Hall, April 16, 1959.. A nostalgic feature of the program is the revival of the so called Paris Orchestra: Seven Swedish star soloists who, together with singer Alice Babs - later worldfamous of her collaboration with Duke Ellington - scored a big hit at the International Jazz Festival in Paris in 1949.
