The second volume of the complete Varèse works by Kent Nagano. <i>Nocturnal</i> was left unfinished because of Varèse's death, and was later completed by his pupil Chou Wen-Chung. The version of <i>Déserts</i> included here is the complete version with "interpolations of organised sound" on magnetic tape.
