Recorded at as special concert in commemoration of the American Bicentennial and TRW's 75th Anniversary, January 11, 1976, at Severance Hall, Cleveland, Ohio. Housed in a gatefold sleeve with LP sides in 1/4 and 2/3 configuration. "Music for a Festive Occasion" for electronic tape with orchestra, completed fall 1975, commissioned by TRW for this occasion. World premiere. "Appreciation is expressed to The Contemporary Music Ensemble of The Cleveland Institute of Music, Larry Baker, director, for its participation in the performance of Donald Erb's compostiion."
