Complete Organ Works --- 2012

Cofanetto di 19 SACD Kooiman started working for the Aeolus label in 2007 with his third Bach integral. When he died unexpectedly on January 25, 2009, the series had progressed to eight CDs. After careful consideration, it was decided to have the project completed by three of Kooiman's former students, namely Gerhard Gnann, Ute Gremmel-Geuchen and Bernhard Klapprott. The nineteen CD box was recorded in its entirety on Silbermann organs by Andreas and Johann Andreas Silbermann in Arlesheim, Bouxwiller, Ebersmunster, Marmoutier, Soultz, Strasbourg and Wasselonne. In addition, a Silbermann reconstruction can be heard in Villingen. There are three recordings of the organworks by Bach from Ewald Kooiman: recording 1 on LP (KMK-label) round 1980, see: [l1960701] recording 2 on CD (Coronata) round 1993, see: [l1975428] recording 3 on SACD (AEOLUS) from 2008.
