Untitled --- 1999

First release on the fledgling Full Crate Productions label. Recorded in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Equipment used: 2 x Technics SL-1200 MKII turntables, 2 x Ortofon Concorde Pro spherical cartridges, Gemini PDM-6008 preamp mixer (digital sampler used), Mitsubishi DA-U41P integrated amplifier, 2 x Cerwin-Vega E315 loudspeakers, Pioneer SE-72 headphones, JVC TD-W505 stereo double cassette deck with Dolby HX Pro (NR undocumented), Sony MDS-JE520 MiniDisc deck. Original studio recording captured on a 90-minute Memorex CD2 Type II cassette, dubbed to two 80-minute Sony premium gold MiniDiscs; MDs sent to Media Tape International (Los Angeles, CA) for mastering and duplication. The final master was the result of three unique takes (#30040, #1986-30040 A2, #1986-30040 A4) with the last take being acceptable. Cover photo is the Packard Automotive Plant (6199 Concord Avenue | Detroit, MI 48211 | USA) of which the artist's late great-uncle was an employee. Back and flap photos were taken inside the artist's residence in Okemos, MI. Spine photo was taken of the artist performing live at an event in Lansing, MI (1996). Cover designed with Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop; PSDs sent to Discount Printing & Graphics (Tampa, FL) for full color offset printing with scoring on 100-LB card stock. The story of the "teaser" track at the end of Side B was that the live mix was completely finished (maybe) and the artist was thinking of cueing up another track but received a phone call from a friend while in session and the stylus fell in a locked groove while he took the call, got distracted, and kept recording. It was decided not to do any post-production and edit the teaser, so as to signify that the music was infinite. B.24 incorrectly labeled as "Chilly" on J-Card. 100 copies in existence.
