This compilation is inspired by many things primarily Jean Molino's theory that all music is the result of Semiosis and by Splinter Cakes 2008 Masterpiece "Snapped" which you can listen to here - archive.org/details/Snapped The artists were asked to take a song that is an instrumental (not just an instrumental track, but a song that was never intended to have lyrics) and then writing/recording their own words over it.
