Fields Rattle --- 1999-09-00
Sort of a "lost album," the next step after SPHEREALITY. Half of it's 4-track (reel and cassette) song-type things done by Joe and Eddie, while the other half finds the band jams falling apart in interesting ways. Released September 1999. Recorded 1990-1993. Edition of 20 copies. With Eddie Flowers, Joe Dean, Mark McCormick, Keith Telligman, and Bob Lee. "Cut 1, Remix 0" voice by Eddie, w/ guitar loop by Earl "Chinna" Smith from Burning Spear's "Garvey's Ghost." Side A recorded on 4-track reel & 4-track cassette, 1991/1992, except "Cut 1, Remix 0," recorded 1993. Side B recorded at Yo Rehearsal Studios, North Hollywood, on cassette, 1990/1991; track B1 recorded on 4-track cassette by John Hancock. [Cover] Photo of Joe & Eddie by Hanni Hajic, as seen thru the filter of the Mississlippy Field-Flusher. Note: although it doesn't say it here, most other Slippy Sound cassettes have the disclaimer "all track times approximate," hence the round track times here.
