Musicworks 76: Changing The Score --- 2000

Included with issue 76 of Musicworks magazine [Spring 2000] which features articles on San Francisco composer, Pamela Z; an interview by Warren Burt about Al Wunder's Theatre of the Ordinary; Rolf Gehlhaar's Sound=Space Installation; Toronto composer Jesse Stewart's lithophone, Pauline Oliveros and Quantum Listening; Romanian composer Ana-Maria Avram, David Tudor's personal notes on Cage's blueprint score; and, Udo Kasemets's reflections on music of the moment. Track 1 recorded and assembled on Pamela Z's ProTools studio (Tokyo, 1999). Track 2 recorded live May 29, 1998, at the finale of "year of Fridays" organized by Al Wunder at Theatre of the Ordinary, in Melbourne, Australia. Track 3 recorded and assembled on Pamela Z's ProTools studio, San Francisco. Tracks 4 to 6, 8, 10 and 12 recorded live at Macdonald Stewart Art Centre, Guelph, Ontario. Track 7 recorded live Feb. 6, 1998 at The ODC Performance Gallery, San Francisco. Track 9 performed on July 15, 1999, in Bucharest, Romania and is dedicated to Gayle Young. Track 13 recorded at the premiere performance on March 20, 1998 at Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center, Buffalo and is excerpted from the CD <A HREF="http://www.discogs.com/release/711599">"Primordial Lift"</A> Table of the Elements (TOE-CD-53).
