X.O. Skeleton Musick

Profile

X.O. Skeleton Musick was a label run by Alex Spalding, Dan Kilmartin, Dom Karsick originally started by Jacob 'Skvmb' Gardner as a no-fi hi-skool art projekt in '99. The symbol of Jenny O'Suicide was in works for a cartoon of the id (ala Johnny the Homicidal Maniac) hadn't made it passed two comic strips, one animation on floppy disk and numerous sketches.. Some albums were released in limited numbers on cassettes because A.) Lack of funds B.) There were only two people operating the digs at any given time. So dubbing, printing, pack / shipping became an issue without help.. C.) You don't have to be gentle with 'em, like cds / records that deteriorate / become scratched,, hard drives irrevocably crashed D.) When emptied, cases can hold up to 1/4 a pack of smokes and fit in your pocket.. E.) To confound trend normality in exchange for utilitarianism.. Some operators are still contactable for any customer / artist related issues. Otherwise, operators marched on separately to the pulses of their own drums and the label has been defunct since 2018, albeit with un-broken bandcamp links still active..
