U.S. label manufactured by [l412218] in 1926-27 for the [l965549] of Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN. Harry Bernstein was the owner/distributor. [l965549] was a major midwestern distributor of [l726118] records. Only 21 Herschel records were produced and released. All but two (2018 & 2021) were pressed from Gennett masters. When Northwest Phonograph suspended operations in 1932, it left its unsold stock of 15,000 Herschel records at the Minneapolis Furniture Exposition Mart. These had been dispersed or discarded by 1950.
