This USSR label established on May 21st, 1946, it was administered by the Committee on the Arts Council of Ministers of the USSR. In August 1957, it moved to the submission of the Office of the Chemical Industry Lensovnarhoza and was renamed to [l=Аккорд]. On April 23rd 1964, the label-plant was handed over to the Ministry of Culture of the USSR and later moved to label [l=Мелодия] on July 11, 1964. In 1964 this label became just a pressing plant (Leningrad Records Factory) for label [l=Мелодия]. August 4, 1993 was established АООТ "Петерфон", now ЗАО "Ленинградский завод грампластинок".
