Golden Fleece

Profile

Golden Fleece was a boutique label set up by Philadelphia International Records. Most of its production was handled by producers and musicians Earl Young, Norman Harris, and Ron Baker, although PIR founders Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff did produce some stuff for Golden Fleece as well. It mainly released singles but did manage to release one album for The Trammps, who was responsible for the label's biggest hit "Love Epidemic". Active 1973 to 1975. As Publisher (BMI), see also: [l267622], [l925600].
