AFCDJ

Profile

Label and organization founded by [a=Léon Cabat] in the late 1930's, beginning 1940's. AFCDJ stands for "Association Française des Collectionneurs de Disques de Jazz". Most records on the label were of a limited edition, and reedited rare Jazz tunes of the 1920's. Few copies were made, since the AFCDJ never pressed more than 500 copies of any of their records. They've usually only made around 100 to 350 to maximum 500 copies of each of their releases. The label ceased its activity in 1950.
