Invisible Records (11)

Profile

French indie label based in Paris, established by music promoter [a1190603] in 1978 as Invisible Records in association with his agency [l=S.C.O.P.A.]. Apparently, In conflict with SACEM and show-business machinery, Jacques Pasquier closed Invisible down at the end of 1981. Do not use: Scopa Invisible or Invisible Scopa or other combined variants. Use individual names: Invisible Records (11), and S.C.O.P.A. (and other related labels where they appear) Variant names include: Invisible, Invisible Record, Invisible Records Production. Distribution code: SC 325 appears on some releases. Unofficial releases are currently documented at [l876238] Distributed releases: A lot of labels and private releases distributed by Invisible + Scopa just say SCOPA INVISIBLE or Invisible Scopa (or variants) often with no actual "Distributed by" at all. This both shows the interchangeable dual nature of these two "companies" and the typical minimal credits for distribution. Again, use the two label names where such credits appear.
