Vague Terrain is a label established by [a=Matmos] in the late 90s to release their own material. Matmos first two albums, LP-version of [i]The West[/i] and a few singles and collaborations were released by the label, and it is still used as a publishing entity. In 2002, Matmos used Vague Terrain as an [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/49569]alternative recording alias[/url] for contractual reasons, when they decided to release a soundtrack for fetish gay pornfilm.
