Mumble Etc. is a British one-man electronic music record label run by Lewis Cooper. All artists signed to the label are alter-aliases of himself (unless stated otherwise), represented by different fictional characters, each sporting their own genres and musical themes. The [a=General Mumble] alias spearheads the label. It was founded in 2013 as a step away from using "[a=General Mumble]" as a brand name, since the addition of new styles and aliases meant that [a=General Mumble] alone was no longer representative of the entire project. The name "[l=Mumble Etc.]" was chosen, despite being a move of departure, to retain the familiarity with the [a=General Mumble] branding, to maintain the status of [a=General Mumble] spearheading the project, and to poke fun at suffixes typically used by businesses such as "inc.", "ltd.", and so on, representing the more carefree nature of the label.
