Also appears as "Prestige" only. Independent NZ label of the late 50s and early 60s. Owned by Auckland impresario [a=Phil Warren] who died in 2002. Folded into [l=Top Rank Records (N.Z.) Ltd.] in 1959 (renamed as [l=Allied International Records Ltd.] in 1960), Warren then becoming a partner in that company. Warren sold his shares in 1961 but kept some of the catalogue, notably [a=Johnny Devlin]. Please note the Australian label [l=Prestige Records (14)] shared a very similar logo and to complicate things the two companies shared some catalogue. They are standalone labels.
