A record company founded by actor Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman. Its name was taken from the Hanks-directed film [i]That Thing You Do![/i] where it was the label that the group in the film was signed to. It was initially distributed by [l=Sony Music Entertainment] through [l=Epic] mainly and in some cases like the soundtrack to the TV series [i]The Sopranos[/i] on [l=Columbia]. The label is now distributed by [l=Rhino Entertainment Company] as of 2007.
