Roxy Recordings is an independent record label based in Kungsholmen, Stockholm, Sweden where their office is the former site of Cheiron Studios and its successor The Location. It was formed in 2007 and was then owned by the Egmont Group through Nordisk Film and MBO. In August 2011 Roxy Recordings was bought by Universal Music Group. In September 2012 Roxy Recordings was put up for sale by Universal and the original founders bought it back. Their releases were being distributed by Playground Music Scandinavia until the summer of 2018 whereby Playground Music Scandinavia AB bought 100% of the company. Leif Käck was bought out and Mårten Aglander was made the MD (VD) for the Playground Music Scandinavia group of labels.
