Formed in January 1990 by [a=Jeff Burns (4)] after leaving his position as Vice President of A&R at [l=CBS Records Canada Ltd.] and was named after Burns' son. In July of that year two publishing arms were founded, [l=Justin Music] and Justin Songs. On March 28, 1992 Justin Entertainment Inc. changed its name to Burns Entertainment Inc. (aka [l=BEI]) as the result of a lawsuit by the Montréal label [l=Justin Time]. Distributed by [l=MCA Records Canada].
