Amphion Gold Seal

Profile

Gold Seal was a short-lived imprint of the US classical music label, [l=Amphion], established in the early 1970s to market more experimental genres. Under the Gold Seal, Amphion presented "Creators of the New Baroque" series, likely inspired by the overwhelming success of [l=Columbia]'s [m=76226] by Walter/Wendy Carlos in 1968. The label established a separate copyright holder for all side projects, [l=Philharmonic Standard Corporation].
