Eskimo Kiss Records is a small but determined indie label located in Atlanta, GA USA. This site is designed to be a record of our trials, tribulations and hopefully triumphs of our quest to provide the very finest in independent music. Eskimo Kiss was formed in January of 2000, during the "Wilmington Blizzard" in a small, coastal North Carolina town. Drawing our inspiration from such labels as Simple Machines, K, Hub City, and Endearing, to name a few, we decided to go forth with our DIY ethic and begin releasing records by ourselves and bands that we know and love. While we are primarily interested in music of the indiepop/rock variety, we don't intend to be a genre-specific label. We do, however, consider ourselves regionally-specific, with our focus being bands that reside in the Southeast and that we've developed a personal relationship with. But in a nutshell, what we hope to do with eskimo kiss is put out music that strikes a chord with us emotionally, music that is honest and real.
