An American chain of music (and video) retail stores, first opened in California in 1970, and then over the years it expanded across the country. The chain began having financial troubles in the mid-1990s, and declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1995. Eventually this nationwide chain of stores would declare bankruptcy again in January 2003, many of them acquired and converted into [l341004] stores.
