Tavdash Records was an independent label previously owned by fledgling artist manager and record executive, [a=David Hyatt]. In June 1993, David Hyatt was arrested and convicted of federal drug and conspiracy charges. He was sentenced to life in prison, but claimed that he had been framed. In 2015, Hyatt died of unknown causes while incarcerated, aged 65. As of 2016, Tavdash remains defunct.
