"Planet Core Productions" (PCP, also an [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/PCP]artists[/url] group) was founded in April 1989 by Marc Trauner ([a=Marc Acardipane]) and Thorsten Lambart ([a=Slam Burt]) after getting numerous rejections from several labels in order to get their music released. It was only a couple of years later they decided to take control of the distribution as well since their first distributor [l430030] closed in 1991, whereupon the label was relaunched (hence the dually used catalog numbers among PCP 002 to 010). [l=PCD] ("Planet Core Distribution") was called into life to handle all the business that comes with distribution. As this wasn't enough, they even opened a record store called "No Mercy Records" (later to become a label as well) at some point, but it took only a few years before they closed it down again. In late '96 PCP transmitted their last signal from the future. Some say it was the result of a bankruptcy, others say there were musical differences between Marc & Thorsten. NOW DEFUNCT!
