"TIS" was founded as "[b]T[/b]eldec [b]I[/b]mport [b]S[/b]ervice" and started in 1975 as the exclusive importer for international RCA and WEA releases not issued in Germany. In the early 1980s it was Germany's largest import company, importing releases from all over the world. Eventually, TIS also became a label and distributor. In the late 1990s the company was renamed to "[b]T[/b]alent [b]I[/b]ndependent [b]S[/b]ervice," since the TELDEC brand then was only used for classical records. [b]Label Code: LC 7590 / LC 07590[/b].
