Weaving Records was started in 1992 by Joe and David Giltrap at The Weavers, London's premier roots & country music venue, which had a long history of presenting the best in folk, blues, country, cajun, zydeco, bluegrass, African and much more. It was a natural progression for The Weavers to start a record label to promote the vast amount of talented artists appearing at the venue.
