New Brunswick, NJ based label Tinman Records was one of the Northeast's premier outlets for dark industrial and EBM music throughout the 1990's and early 2000's. For many years the label primarily focused on New York/New Jersey area talent. It was where world-renowned industrial acts Croc Shop, I Parasite, and Android Lust made their names. Later notable bands to sign to the label were Terrorfakt, Dubok, and Interface. Owner and president Jeff Johnson officially shut down the label as of January 1, 2005.
