German record company that started business in 1985 with releasing video productions on VHS, on the [l=!K7] label. They also launched a CD compilation series called [l=X-Mix (2)], followed in 1993 by the [l=DJ-Kicks] series. In 1993 a new division called [l=!K7 Records] was created especially for artist releases. The releases issued by this division carried the !K7® branding. The complete company name was Studio K7 Audio-Visual Communication GmbH In 2000 the company name was changed into [l=Studio K7 Records] GmbH. After this name change, all releases carried the !K7® branding.
