Legoan was a label of [L=Nova Tekk GmbH] started in 1996 and released mainly compilations with eclectic IDM. Legoan was renamed to [l=Leguan] in early 1997 due to the fact that the letters LEGO were strikingly similar to the logo of the Danish toy company by the same name. To avoid legal issues the label changed it's name. Some of the compilations which were not yet distributed were stickered with the new logo to cover the old name.
