2Ply Collective

2Ply Collective was conceived by liked-minded musicians from the music scene in Winnipeg, Canada who shared an interest in pushing the boundaries of rock music by adding experimental aspects of noise, dissident chords, improvisation, space rock, shoegaze, lo-fi jam recordings, improvisational jam parties. Many of the same musicians played in several different bands within the loose collective/scene. The collective was not exclusive or it's "members" held to any codes or stated rules. Bands associated or loosely associated with the collective are: HAM, Spiral Spectacular, Room Two Three Seven, Hellinacopter Absent Sound, National Monument, Simulacrum(projections), Suture, Mahogany Frog, Vampires, The Element Sircus(bi-annual music Festival).
