Manhattan Record
Profile
U.S. record label (ca. 1909-1915) produced by the [l437429] for several retailers, including the Simpson Crawford Company, Siegel Cooper & Company and the Henry Siegel Company, all of which are cited on labels. All issues are standard Columbia pressings with Manhattan labels pasted over originals. Both 10" and 12" releases were produced, in both single- and double-sided forms. The [l722907] offered a few recordings by notable performers (e.g. [a2465606]), but most consisted of standards and light classics by Columbia's studio instrumental groups and lesser known concert performers.
