Profile

French label and distributor specialising in experimental jazz, established in 1973. The man behind the business was one [a=Sébastian Bernard] who started by organising concerts in 1968, then circa 1970 became one of the first French importers of free-jazz labels from the UK and Germany like Ogun, Emanem, FMP, etc. Parallel to these activities he established the [l=Center Of The World] label, then Sun Records which expanded its activities handling other labels, like: [l915486], [l=GRRR], [l172277], etc.. In the late 1970s Sun Records (2) was distributed by: [l=Free Bird]
