Jamaican label and distributor founded in 1978 by [a=Neville Lee] after he left [l=Dynamic Sounds Recording Co. Ltd.]. Some credits are just 'Sonic Sound'. He eased out of the company in 1989 that was then directed by his son [a=Jason Lee (4)] until its closure in 2013. Please consider using [l=Sonic Sounds Rec. Mfg. Co. Ltd.] or [l=Sonic Sounds Ltd.] if credited as such on release. Upstairs at Sonic Sounds was a tiny computerized studio, [l=Megabyte Studio] built in 1988 (aka [l=Sonic Sounds Studios]).
