East Side Story was a bootleg series created by Anthony "Mr. B" Boosalis in late 1970s Los Angeles. Each of the 12 volumes compiled "oldies" style downtempo soul and doo-wop, and were notable for their cover artwork depicting the people and cars of East LA's Chicano culture, of which the compilations have since become a lasting symbol.
