Brazilian label founded circa 1954 by Enrique Lebendiger. Before 1971 was a label from Fermata Indústria Fonográfica Ltda. From 1971 to 1980 it was owned by the collaboration [l=Discos RGE/Fermata Ltda.]. In 1980 this broke up and the label was managed again by Fermata Indústria Fonográfica Ltda. till 1992. The current company is [l=Fermata Do Brasil]. Label operations in latin-America include Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Uruguay. In Argentina used a different label [l=Producciones Fermata].
