British record label specializing in classical music recordings. [b]Label Code: LC 5871 / LC 05871[/b] Founded in 1972 by the late bass singer [a1881896] and the brothers [a724415] and [a724417]. Nimbus Records also acts as a distributor for [l=Lyrita Recorded Edition]. The Nimbus Foundation, now operated by Wyastone Estate Limited, has its own concert hall and studio, [l=Wyastone Concert Hall]. It is noteworthy that since around 2003, Nimbus Records has been reissuing its own back catalogue, and that of [l=Lyrita Recorded Edition], on CD-Rs rather than as regular CDs.
