Swiss record company and music store in Zurich. The company is based on the [a5451419], which was founded in Zurich in 1895. It soon became one of the most famous music suppliers in Switzerland. The company starts to be a host for concerts. In 1927, Jecklin becomes the Swiss representation for Steinway & Sons. Later, the company is expanded also to a store for records and audio electronics, it is host for musical competitions and founds a studio. Finally, in 1967, the first record appears on [l111393], a label for classical music. After years of expansion, the studio closes and the company is sold to tmbm.com SA in 2000. This state lasts for 2 years, in 2002 Jecklin appears again as independent retailer with concentration in sale of music products.
