Ambolthue simply means "Anvil head" in Norwegian. It's a small label releasing mainly noise and experimental music, but if something exciting comes up it's free to be released on Ambolthue. It's Kjetil Hanssen that runs the label, and he's the one that decides what's going to be released. As with Kjetil's solo noise project ([a=Torstein Wjiik]), is the idea of the label is to make everyone in the whole world happy and inspired. That’s why the slogan is: Don't get annoyed, get inspired!!!
