British record label created by [a=Chas Peate] in 1975. Early releases (70's-1981) present the "[b]Splash[/b]" logo on label, while later releases (since 1982) present the "[b]Splash Records[/b]" logo on label. In 1996, the label was absorbed by [l=RCA]/[l=BMG]/[l=Arista Records]. Today, Splash Records, its masters and back catalogue remain under the corporate care of [l=Sony Music Entertainment].
