Series of reissues encoded at 24-bit 96 kHz on DVD media from [l=Classic Records]. First issued in 1998, before final introduction of DVD-audio in 1999. While The term DVD may not be mentioned on release (the term 'DAD disc' may appear), releases may have included a sticker which states: Only Playable on DVD Hardware. These discs are not compatible with CD hardware.Included "Video" content of track by track credits when playing in DVD player. Apparently phased out in favor of the [l=HDAD 24/192 24/96] series which offered dual-sided discs with similar 24/96 PCM data audio on one and DVD-Audio on the other.
