This is the second generation of the Abril Cultural "História Da Música Popular Brasileira" series, subtitled "New", launched on newsstands between 1976 and 1979. All issues follow the "magazine" pattern series of the publishing company: cover in light cardboard with satin external finish with a stapled 8 to 12 page booklet with historical and biographical data on each artist plus the 12" LP record housed in an envelope on the last page. Previously released (1970-72) as [l406059] (10" LP records) Later released (1982-84) as [l871641] (subtitled "Great Composers")
